Tracking the Thunderbird is a game for all ages where you learn about the water cycle, while solving clues that take you to parks in the county where the mythological Thunderbird has left a "Track". Grab a map and start your quest for the locations of the nine Thunderbird Tracks!

This game is ideal for families, schools, scout groups and more.  The pursuit of the Thunderbird is a great opportunity to get outside and discover parts of Kitsap County that you haven't seen before.

How to play:

Game play is easy; Get a small binder or folder to store all of the clues in. When we release the clues on our website, print them out and study them, some of them are tricky! This is where the binder comes in handy. When you think you know where the track is located, go to the park and sketch or take a picture of the thunderbird track on the blank pages (artistic talent is not judged). At the end of the program, if you can prove you found all 9 Thunderbird tracks, you will get a souvenir! Please Note: Some of the tracks are located in State owned parks, and will require a Discover pass that is clearly displayed to enter.

Track #3 at Wicks Lake has gone missing - the Parks Department is working on locating the track.
