Capital Improvement and School Construction General Obligation Bonds - $271,000,000 Board of Directors of South Kitsap School District No. 402 adopted Resolution No. 1367 concerning a proposition to finance capital improvements for student safety and educational facilities. This proposition would authorize the District to: construct a new Cedar Heights Middle School; construct a new Olalla Elementary School; construct a new South Colby Elementary School; construct a new Explorer Academy and Discovery High School; renovate South Kitsap High School; and make District-wide safety, security, HVAC, parking and technology improvements; issue no more than $271,000,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within 21 years; and levy annual excess property tax levies to pay such bonds, as provided in Resolution No. 1367.
