PROGRAM INFORMATION​

The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office Cadet Program is a good place to start your law enforcement career.  We provide early law enforcement knowledge that prepares men and women for a career in law enforcement.  

  • Must be 16 to 21 years of age
  • No felony convictions
  • Complete a background check
  • Be a Kitsap County Resident
  • Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, if attending high school
  • The need and want to learn and apply good knowledge

APPLY​

Applications are accepted at any time throughout the year. They are available at any Kitsap County Sheriff's Office or you can download an application online.

Once your application is received you will be invited to attend two meetings prior to your oral board interview.

Our meetings are held every other Monday evening in Silverdale. Some meetings and events are held in various locations in the Kitsap County area.
