The Council for Human Rights presents a Social Justice Meet & Greet. Sponsors include the YWCA of Kitsap County, Kitsap Regional Library and the Bremerton chapter of the NAACP. Local organizations working for equity and inclusion for marginalized groups in Kitsap will meet to share information and volunteer opportunities. The public is invited to attend to learn more about getting involved locally.
Participating organizations include Advocates for Immigrants in Detention Northwest, Civil Survival, the Food Bank Coalition, Helpline House, Holly Ridge Center, Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center, Kitsap PFLAG, Kitsap Pride Network, Kitsap Regional Library, Kitsap Safe Schools Network, NAACP Bremerton, Q Youth Resources, RESULTS, Scarlet Road, Stand Up For Kids, Standing Up for Racial Justice, Volunteer Kitsap, With Respect, LLC and the YWCA of Kitsap County.
The event is free and open to the public. Please bring a food donation for our local foodbanks
