Residents in Bainbridge Island and the north end of Kitsap County can bring their hazardous household chemicals to a one-day collection event being held at the City of Bainbridge Island Operations Maintenance Facility (7305 NE Hidden Cove Road) on Saturday, August 26th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Please note that latex paint will NOT be accepted at this event, nor will items that already have local recycling options, like used motor oil, fluorescent lamps, and batteries. This event is for Kitsap County residents only, and limited to household waste (no business or other non-household waste accepted).

 

This one-day event supplements the permanent, year-round Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Bremerton.
