Kitsap County Parks is holding a public meeting to discuss options to move forward with Phase 2 Gordon Field Improvements, synthetic turf of Field 2.
Parks is encouraging anyone interested in using fields at the Fairgrounds to attend.
When? Thursday, February 23, 2017
Where? Eagle's Nest located at 1195 NW Fairgrounds Roadi n Bremerton
The purpose of this meeting is to gauge anticipated additional public use of the field, if it was covered with synthetic turf and usable year-round. Parks is also interested in what amenities users feel are needed at this location, especially if those needs change based on additional synthetic turf field.
Information gathered during the meeting assists staff in writing grants and making presentations to receive funding for the project.
