What happens to collected foam?

Volunteer with us
We’re seeking volunteers to help make this event a success! Volunteers will help greet, direct, and assist community members with unloading their Styrofoam. Sign up to volunteer with our Volunteer Interest Form.
No Tire Collection Event in 2024
Kitsap County is unable to offer a tire collection event in 2024 due to lack of funding from the Department of Ecology. We will offer this event if funding becomes available at a later date.
Low cost tire disposal is available at local tire shops. Leave your old tires behind when you buy new tires.
Questions about an event?
Contact us in advance at solidwaste@kitsap.gov or Kitsap1 360-337-5777. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate early or late foam drop-offs.
